Sam Savage, of South Coast Events, organises The Dorset Wedding Supplier Awards and The Hampshire Wedding Supplier Awards.
Sam has a passion for event planning. South Coast Events creates bespoke events for corporate and private clients, with a sister company, South Coast Weddings, providing wedding planning services.
The company also organises many wedding fairs in Dorset, including The Dorset Wedding Festival, a long running festival-style wedding fair with live music, food, bars and lots of fun and relaxing elements for couples planning their weddings.
The Wedding Supplier Awards were created to recognise, support and connect wedding suppliers on a local level.
JUDGE and Owner of NL Weddings
Nicola started working in the wedding industry in 2004 where she worked for a prestigious venue called Parklands, Quendon Hall (now part of the Tabor Group) in Essex. She started as a Sales Assistant but was eager to learn everything about weddings so worked in all departments to get experience and knowledge. She worked in all areas in the office, admin, accounts, marketing, sales, planning weddings, and also worked on weddings as a waitress, behind the bar, to running weddings on the day. In 2008 when she was just 26 years old she was made Sales Director for the Tabor Group. She ran the Sales & Marketing for all 6 venues that the group had over the years. Theses included 2 in Essex, 1 in Warwickshire, 1 in Hampshire, 1 in Suffolk and 1 in Cyprus.
Then in 2018 she decided to take a leap and go for my dream of owning a Bridal shop and bought the Essex Franchise of Bridal Reloved. She turned the shop, which was in slight decline, round making it to the top 3 of the all the Franchises in the UK. During her time there she had many wedding venues getting in touch, asking for help, using my experience and knowledge of the wedding industry so this is when the decisions was made to start NL Weddings; a wedding consultancy that helps and advises venues on how to improve their weddings sales. She also decided to broaden this further and uses her experience to offer help to couples that are getting married but are not sure where to start.
With over 15 years in the industry Nicola has worked with many suppliers and seen 1000’s of weddings!
JUDGE and Owner of The Inspiration Agency
Louise owns the Inspiration Agency a Graphic Design and Marketing agency based in Poole, Dorset. Louise has over 20 years experience in traditional and digital marketing and design.
Over the past 20 years Louise has worked with many businesses in the wedding industry from hotels and photographers to make up artists and cake makers.
Louise is really passionate about improving local business. The Inspiration Agency works with businesses throughout Dorset to help them get the best return on investment from their marketing spend and to create beautiful graphics which will really speak to their target audience.
JUDGE and Founder & Marketing Director at Women Who Do
Emma is truly passionate about empowering women and helping small business owners succeed and thrive. She started Women Who Do in June 2017, a community that connects, supports and empowers its members. Since its first networking event in Winchester, WWD has grown and spread across various cities, has started its own membership platform, has recently launched its own clothing brand and continues to promote the amazing women in their group.
Emma also started her own marketing consultancy in 2018 which sees her running workshops, delivering marketing strategies and using a lot of Pinterest!

Meghan is the Founder of The Wedding Emporium, an award winning events company offering professional and passionately-filled wedding shows for all South West Wedding business owners.
Not only has the TWE managed to build a fantastic reputation in a just a few years with their shows, they have also built a friendly community full of like-minded suppliers who network, collaborate and work together.
Meghan offers regular business advice to all members along with TWE team, private 1-2-1 sessions and inspiring live videos with her knowledge and advice from experience of working in the wedding industry for many years with TWE and her wedding planning business.
The words “Because Together We Are Better” are TWE’s phrase which is regularly used to encourage working as a team in the fast growing world of wedding and it shines through in all of Meghan’s work, the events she organises and her enthusiasm for the industry.
Kate started Bridal Reloved after trying to sell her own wedding dress. Little did she know at the time that Bridal Reloved would become the amazing company that it is today!
Bridal Reloved is one of the UK’s largest bridal chains and the worlds only chain of pre-owned wedding dress boutiques.
Danielle has worked with children of all ages for over nine years and is the mother of three young girls. Danielle is a fully qualified teacher and childminder and has taught in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 as well as in a nursery setting. She studied at Royal Holloway University of London and has a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies. Before undertaking a profession in teaching, Danielle worked as a children’s party entertainer where she spent her days as a pink fairy, sprinkling pixie dust, painting faces and training tiny Tinkerbelles.
From the love of children and special events, the idea of The Wedding Crecherz was born. What could be better than being able to take your child/ren to a wedding but having them professionally looked after, so you can all enjoy yourselves?
